Faherty Brand created this blanket in collaboration with Native artist Doug Good Feather, this super cozy blanket features his Prairie Stream design knit in organic cotton on one side and plush high pile fleece on the other. An artist, veteran, author, and teacher, Doug Good Feather is from the Standing Rock Lakota and Dakota Nation and is the founder of the Lakota Way Healing Center.

Flora Y Tierra, an organization led by Blanca Diaz, is a beacon in our community in Long Beach, CA.     About Flora y Tierra

    Flora y Tierra is an autonomous community space rooted in traditional medicine and abolition. 

    We hold community through mutual aid, herbal clinics, healing circles, and community gatherings prioritizing 2 spirit, queer, trans and gender expansive folks.

    We are grateful to have the opportunity to be caregivers to Flora y Tierra which stands strong on Tongva land in the Long Beach downtown area.

    Through our relationship with elders, community, and our collective, we have been able to share 7 years of programming on a sliding scale or for free, never turning away BIPOC for lack of funds.
